Juhlat Maauimalassa/ Party at the Outdoor Pool 2025

The work is a collection of different components from various periods, joined together. It resembles a surprising party that is slightly difficult to get into and whose whole concept feels faintly illicit. Party is a gathering of different people and emotional states. The whole forms a colorful, varied, and radiant ensemble—every element is needed. The work is a sister piece to Awake at Night.

Dimensions: Diameter 55 cm x 44 cm; maximum height from the wall: 4–6 cm

Material: High-fired white stoneware and gold, mounted on an MDF background

Decoration: Raw painting on the clay and on top of the glaze,painted with pure gold, collage of monotypia, and serigraphy decorations

Care: Dust gently; glazed parts can be wiped with a soft cloth

Installation: Equipped with a key lock hanging system on the back of the artwork
